EMS Education Updates

Region 11 Chicago EMS System has partnered with Vector Solutions to provide online education for our EMS providers. Every EMS provider within Region 11 is required to create a membership profile and access all educational materials through this website. Your profile will also allow for license tracking and additional Continuing Education opportunities. We have discontinued the prior Region 11 websites.

National Registry Certification

This  reference document defines the guidelines for National Registry initial and recertification by an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic within Region 11.  NREMT recertification is not required by Region 11, however this document addresses the process for individuals that maintain National Registry certification. 

2021 National EMS Education Standards

The 2021 National EMS Education Standards were released in November 2021.  Please see the IDPH memo regarding statewide adoption of these standards.
