EMT Refresher Course Offered by Malcolm X College

This 24-hour EMT Refresher Training session is designed to ensure competency for the practicing EMTs. This course provides an opportunity to review and strengthen key knowledge, skills, and major concepts outlined in the U.S, Department of Transportation Emergency Medical Technician curriculum.

Students are strongly encouraged to review their current EMT textbook prior to attending. Full attendance is required to receive the full 24 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit. The course is approved by the Illinois Department of Public Health, and hour-for-hour CME will be awarded.
